Luna Birth Midwifery is a professional midwifery practice run by Elise Planty and supported by a team of birth professionals. By bringing us on to support your conception journey, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, you will have chosen a team that genuinely cares about you, your family, and the way you feel about your experience. We know that childbearing experiences ripple out for generations to come and we don't take your choice to work with us lightly. Our prenatal and postpartum visits are an hour long, offering time to drop into your wellbeing, fetal wellbeing, birth and postpartum planning, desired labs, and any questions that have been brewing for you. We aim to have fun, be creative, and provide a network of safety to the best of our ability. Elise has been involved in out-of-hospital birth since 2010, bringing years of wisdom, skill and experience. We look forward to supporting our clients and getting to know them on their unique journey. Elise also offers massage and pelvic floor support as desired.

A free consultation/interview to ask all your questions and get to know Elise.

Prenatal Care: 90 minute initial visit and 60 minute prenatal visits from early pregnancy until your baby is born in a beautiful office and at home. Monthly in your first and second trimesters, bi weekly from 32-36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until baby is born. This includes phone/text support as needed.

Midwifery support during your labor, birth and immediate postpartum.

Postpartum Care: 6 visits before you reach 6 weeks postpartum for both mom and baby in our beautiful office space and in your home. Phone/text support as needed.

Breastfeeding preparation, counseling and support.

Complete lab work, access to ultrasound, herbal and nutritional support, ample childbirth education and birth plan creation.

Birth tubs are available for clients to borrow.

Payment options: cash payments, checks, Zelle, PPO Insurance plans, Health Shares, HSA, Debit/Credit with Mastercard/Visa, Apple Pay (3% charge).
