Midwifery Care Details​

  • A complimentary consult to ask all your questions and get to know the Midwife. 

​

  • Prenatal Care:

    • 90 minute initial visit including labs and ultrasound requisition if desired.   

    • 60 minute prenatal visits from early pregnancy until your baby is born.  

    • Visits primarily take place in a beautiful office in Rocklin, California.  We also do a 36 week home visit. 

    • Visits are monthly in your first and second trimesters, bi-weekly from 32-36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until baby is born.  

    • Phone/text support as needed.

  • Physical support during your labor, birth and immediate postpartum.​  Care at a birth includes fetal & maternal assessments, physical support & suggestions, herbal & homeopathic remedies, a birth tub, etc.  I bring a few bags to your birth containing: supportive herbs, coping tools, medications and equipment for addressing urgent scenarios, suturing equipment, IV equipment, assessment tools such as blood pressure cuff, doppler, etc.  I settle in, help create a supportive birth space, and stay until 3-6 hours postpartum as needed.

  • Postpartum Care:

    • 6 visits before you reach 6 weeks postpartum

    • 2 home visits during the first week 

    • Office visits at 2, 4, and 6 weeks

    • Phone/text support as needed

​

  • Breastfeeding preparation, counseling and support. 

​

  • Complete lab work, access to ultrasound, herbal and nutritional support, ample childbirth education and birth plan creation.

​

  • Birth tubs are available for clients to borrow.

​

  • Payment options: cash payments, checks, Zelle, PPO Insurance plans, Health Shares, HSA, Debit/Credit with Mastercard/Visa (3% charge).

  • Payment plans are happily accepted with a deposit.

Other Offerings

​​

  • Postpartum home (or office) visits regardless of WHERE you birthed your baby (weights checks, natural remedies, provide healing perspective for a variety of birth and postpartum related experiences).  This is especially helpful for families who birthed in the hospital, but desire closer support than the medical model offers. 

  • Breastfeeding support/counseling.

  • Papsmear and STD testing

  • Nutritional and Herbal Guidance to boost fertility, prepare for pregnancy, to minimize uncomfortable symptoms of menopause, and to encourage the most comfortable menstruation. 

  • In home IV's for support and recovery of hyperemesis and other ailments during pregnancy/postpartum. 

  • Labwork to provide a basis from which you can move forward with any of your healthcare goals.
